David A. Wind, J.D., M.S.

Principal and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Wind received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Boston University School of Business Management, a Juris Doctorate at New York Law School and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development & Investment from New York University.

Mr. Wind has clerked at the New York State Attorney General's Real Estate Finance Bureau where he participated in reviews and investigations of real estate cooperative apartment conversions and real estate syndications. Mr. Wind was an analyst at Citicorp Investment Bank and was responsible for investment analysis of mortgage-backed investment securities and offerings.

Mr. Wind is the General Partner of Sterling Mortgage Investment Group, L.P., an entity that purchases closed home loans from licensed mortgage brokers and originates commercial loans for its own investment portfolio. He is a licensed New York State real estate broker and of counsel to the law firms of Dole, Wind, and Dole, P.C., and Valente & Klein, P.C.

Mr. Wind is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Mortgage Bankers Association of New York, New York Mortgage Brokers Association, New York Society of Mortgage Professionals, and the Young Mortgage Brokers Association. Mr. Wind appears on a variety of business talk shows, both radio and televised. Recently, he appeared live on CNBC to discuss the mortgage business. He is also contributing articles weekly to the New York Daily News Real Estate section.
